We are thrilled to announce that the City of Doerun has been selected to receive a BRACE grant in the amount of $2,500. Funded through the Solid Waste Trust Fund (SWTF), the BRACE program is designed to reduce litter, blight, and illegal dumping on public property and encourage code enforcement efforts. These grant proceeds will be used to pay for a city-wide clean up day this spring to encourage citizens to bring trash, waste, debris, etc. to a central collection location to be disposed of, free of charge. More information will be shared as we select a date for clean-up.
