City Hall in Doerun is staffed by a City Clerk and Assistant City Clerk, available Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Our staff handle a variety of essential services, including:
Preparing and collecting monthly utility bills
Managing work orders
Answering calls and assisting residents and businesses

Frank Pierce, City Manager, has served the City of Doerun for a decade as it’s Police Chief. In December of 2025 he was appointed as the City Manager where he oversees the daily operations of the city, implements policies set by the Mayor and Council, manages all departments and staff, prepares and administers the budget, and ensures efficient delivery of public services to the community.
John Walters has worked with/for the City of Doerun, off and on, in varying capacities, for most of his life. He currently works as a Public Service Technician and Assistant to the City Manager. He is a invaluable resource concerning the city’s infrastructure.


Sharon Walters, City Clerk, manages official city records, prepares and maintains council agendas and minutes, oversees municipal elections, assists customers at City Hall, and ensures transparent, accurate documentation of the city’s legislative and administrative actions.
